Anderson served congregations in various church positions including choir director, band member, Sunday school teacher, Youth Minister and Contemporary Worship Leader. In conjunction with her spiritual development, Cynthia enjoyed a career as a full-time musician –  teaching band, chorus, and conducting the Bellevue Youth Symphony.  She was also the assistant conductor of the Thalia Symphony.  Rev. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Performance from Seattle Pacific University and was awarded the prestigious Emmanuel Music Endowment for excellence in art, music, and theatre.  She was awarded an Excellence in Teaching scholarship from the Target Corporation and received a full scholarship from Northern Arizona University in Instrumental Conducting.

Beginning in 1998 Rev. Anderson began serving in Unity churches including Unity of Phoenix, Unity Church of Overland Park and Seattle Unity.  In 2003 she was Licensed and Ordained by the Association of Unity Churches after completing her Ministerial Education Program at Unity School of Christianity, Unity Village, MO.  Rev. Anderson served as Chair for the Prosperity Team for Unity Worldwide Ministries and has recently written a 4-week Prosperity book and series entitled, PRSPRTY 4U currently being taught in Unity churches around North America.  Rev. Cynthia Alice Anderson received the invitation to serve as Senior Minister at Christ Church Unity in Orlando, Florida just over 8 years ago.  Under her Spiritual Leadership, Christ Church Unity continues to be one of the fastest growing ministries in the Unity Movement.

We look forward to having her back as a guest speaker at Unity of New York!
