Reverend Becca Bean was ordained at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in 2011, and has been a Unity Truth student for nearly 30 years. She proudly serves as a Unity Prayer Chaplain at Unity of New York, and also volunteers with Disaster Chaplaincy Services of New York City. Born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, Becca has lived and thrived in Manhattan in a variety of careers since 1982. Working first as an Equity stage manager, and later pursuing a 30-year career as a professional fundraiser, she has helped non-profit organizations such as The Big Apple Circus, New York Presbyterian Hospital and the Wildlife Conservation Society grow and prosper. Sharing her years of experience, Becca leads our Development Team here at Unity of New York. Becca is also one of the founders of the Unity Senior Adventures (USA) group, building our Unity of NY community beyond our Sunday services and classes. We are grateful to Becca for her commitment to Unity of NY and her volunteerism – she is always willing to step in and lend a hand!
