Voices In Unity
Our magnificent choir, Voices In Unity, is a vital part of Unity of New York. This volunteer adult choir is composed of members and congregants of the church. Through song, Voices In Unity illustrates the message of Truth we celebrate at Unity of New York. The members’ varied backgrounds range from professional singers to those who simply love to sing. The result that is created from the talents of these dedicated individuals is powerful and moving.
We often remind ourselves in Voices In Unity of the power and importance of music in the adage, “Singing is praying twice.”The choir performs regularly at the Unity Church of New York Sunday Celebration services, with a hiatus in the summer months. Auditions are generally held late in the summer before the beginning of each new season.
