Dr. Karmen Smith reminds us that in the midst of chaos, fear is used as a strategic tool. Fear creates a predictable set of outcomes which are destructive, distracting and destabilizing. The attributes of God include compassion and courage which creates a powerful stabilizing force. Dr. Smith confirms that when the world gets chaotic our intention is to light the way with Compassionate Courage.
Dr. Karmen Smith teaches that our trauma is our biggest treasure. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who’s mission is to de-stigmatize mental health symptoms. Dr. Karmen distributes a series of videos and newsletters with information intended to educate people about depression and anxiety. Her intention is to create a safe place to heal our bias and uncover our intrenched views that contribute to polarized thinking which leads to a feeling of separation.

For twenty plus years, Dr. Karmen worked as a Child and Family Intervention Specialist in the Child Welfare field for Clark County Family Services in Las Vegas Nevada. She helped families realize that abuse, addiction and emotional trauma did not have to be their legacy. Dr Smith is the author of THE “I AM” SOLUTION – Simple Practices to Transform Fear Back to LOVE a book that helps people realize they have the power to heal. Dr. Smith is a guest lecturer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, teaching helping professionals how to activate their healing power. She is a practicing cross-cultural Shaman an empathic healer who understands that this is our time. It is our time to shine, our time to put everything we are into practice. It is time to BE THE ONE.
