Friday, August 18th
We plan to see a new documentary called
STEP, about the senior year of a girl’s step dance team in inner-city Baltimore as they prepare for a tournament. It focuses on three team members as they prepare for the competition, impending graduation, and pressures of getting into college, all during Baltimore’s social unrest in April 2015.
Please RSVP so we can confirm show time & location just prior to August 18th. An optional lunch will follow the movie at a restaurant in the neighborhood. See the trailer on Youtube.
